Community is at the heart of what I do. Driven by passion, not profit, I strive to make each of these communities a true home away from home.
The first group on Facebook I started managing on 2012 was created on October 6 2010 and it was based in the Netherlands.
When I first moved to the Netherlands, I was struck by the lack of online resources and support for Greek expatriates. Driven by the need for connection and guidance, I began blogging about my own experiences as a Greek expat in a new country.
What started as a personal project quickly grew into a mission to unite our small community. With a population of just 5,000 Greeks in the Netherlands at the time, I gathered a small team, and together we built a robust network of Facebook groups.
These spaces offered not only valuable information but also support for emergencies, housing, and job opportunities.
As I relocated to Spain, I continued this journey by creating Greeks in Spain, bringing together local groups to create a cohesive community for Greeks across the country.
My work has touched the lives of thousands, fostering a sense of belonging, mutual support, and shared understanding ♡

Griekse Gemeenschap van Amsterdam - Ελληνική Κοινότητα του Άμστερνταμ
The Greek Community of Amsterdam has assisted thousands of Greeks with their relocation to the Netherlands, as well as providing language and dance lessons, organising events and presentations, all while keeping the Greek spirit alive.
They closed their physical meeting space in August 2022 and have transitioned online.
